Kris Jenner opened up about her separation from husband Bruce Jenner and even weighed in on those Bruce Jenner sex change rumors during a recent stop at Today.

Jenner was promoting her new cookbook, In the Kitchen With Kris: A Kollection of Kardashian-Jenner Family Favorites, during an interview with Today’s Hoda Kotb when she spoke about her estranged husband.

Kris Jenner Laughs Off Bruce Jenner Sex Change

When Kotb asked Jenner why she left Bruce out of the dedication of her book, Jenner said that Bruce’s absence from the book was not a jab at her soon to be ex, but a chance for her to focus on doing something for her children and grandchildren.

Not ready to let the opportunity pass, Kotb pressed Jenner about her decision to file for divorce, mentioning the rumors that Bruce Jenner wanted to get a sex change.

“Just – it’s silly. I mean, they’ve been saying that since the '70s,” Jenner said, laughing off the rumors, “They just keep regurgitating the same old stuff.”

Kris Jenner On Bruce: "I Just Want Him To Be Happy"

As for the rumors that Bruce Jenner has moved on from his marriage with Jenner’s former assistant and close friend, Ronda Kamihira, Jenner claimed she had no idea who her husband was seeing romantically.

“I just want him to be happy. I don’t care who he goes out with, and I don’t know who he’s dating. He doesn’t check in with me and like, give me a play by play. It’s his life, and you just want the guy to be happy. He’s still the father of two of my children, so we’re friends.”

The Jenners are parents to the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner bunch, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who were recently named two of Time Magazine’s most influential teens of 2014. Wrapping up her interview, Jenner defended her youngest daughters against critics that claim they don’t truly work, saying, “I’m really proud of those two because they are amazing kids with great hearts. They’re really smart, and they work hard.”
