Harington has become a heartthrob thanks to his role as Jon Snow on Game of Thrones – one of the only members of the Stark family still alive since the series began. His medium-length locks of curly brown hair have also made an impression on fans, and have become synonymous with the name ‘Jon Snow.’

So, when Harington walked down the red carpet for the London premiere of his new film Testament of Youth with his hair brushed back, making it appear quite shorter than it does in the show, fans on Twitter went into a panic, convinced it was a sign that he was no longer working on Game of Thrones, suggesting his character dies in the upcoming fifth season.
