Kimora Lee Simmons has welcomed her first child with her husband, financier Tim Leissner.
Simmons, 39, announced the birth of her son, Wolfe Lee Leissner, in a statement Wednesday. “We are filled with joy, adoration and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our son,” Simmons and Leissner, 45, told People magazine in a statement.
According to a rep for Simmons, she’s in good health and resting following her son’s delivery and that her husband is “ecstatic.”
While Wolfe is the first child the couple is welcoming together, both Simmons and Leissner have children from previous relationships. Simmons is a mother to daughters Ming, 15, and Aoki, 12, with Russell Simmons and son Kenzo, 5, with actor Djimon Hounsou. Leissner has two daughters, ages 9 and 12.
Simmons had announced her pregnancy back in February.
