Kimberly Guilfoyle Has No Intention Of Losing Trump Family Connections After Being Dropped By Donald Trump Jr.
Despite being named President Donald Trump’s new appointment as U.S. Ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-fiance, will not be easily pushed aside as expected.
Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle, who had been romantically involved since 2018 and were engaged in December 2020, announced their separation in December 2024. Immediately following Trump Jr.’s split from Guilfoyle, he went public with his new girlfriend, Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson.
Anderson had reportedly told Trump Jr. to “[Get] Kim out of the area,” and within days, President Trump announced that Guilfoyle would now serve as the U.S. Ambassador to Greece.
However, despite Trump Jr.’s suspiciously fast coupling with Anderson, Guilfoyle reportedly wants to stay on good terms with the president’s son. A source close to the matter shared with Page Six that Guilfoyle and Trump Jr. still very much “run in the same circles” and further explained, “Kimberly and Don have known each other for years and have a lot of history together, so she feels like they’ll always have a connection.”
The source also noted that Guilfoyle’s new position as ambassador will require her to stay in touch with President Trump, therefore providing an initiative for her and the Trump family to maintain a good relationship.
Interestingly, both Anderson and Guilfoyle were present at the inauguration despite the Trump family’s vocal disapproval of Anderson. It was reported that some in Trump’s orbit are “deeply troubled” that Anderson is not conservative enough to uphold the family’s MAGA image.
Mediate noted that Anderson has a “reputation for hard partying and a pattern of dating wealthy men in the affluent Florida enclave.” The inside source states, “Bettina’s presence is seen as a liability rather than an asset.”
