Kim Richards, star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was arrested early Thursday morning in Beverly Hills.

Kim Richards Arrested For Public Intoxication

Richards was reportedly drunk when she refused to leave the Beverly Hills Hotel Polo Lounge, resulting in her arrest. An inebriated Richards was asked to leave after she became “unruly” and the reality star reportedly locked herself in the bathroom, causing the establishment to call the police to the scene.

“Kim had been drinking vodka tonics all night…At some point after midnight, the bartender decided that Kim hand enough to drink, and refused to serve her,” a source told Radar Online.

The source added that, when the bartender refused to serve her, Richards became belligerent, saying, “Don’t you know who I am?”

According to reports, the police had to physically remove Richards from the premises and kicked an officer when she was taken to the police station. Richards was released later in the day, but has been charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, battery of a police office and public intoxication.

Kim Richards’ Sobriety On RHOBH

Richards has a history of substance abuse – she went to rehab in 2011 – and her recent erratic behavior has been documented on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Some of her fellow housewives have expressed their concerns about her sobriety, including her sister Kyle Richards and new cast member Lisa Rinna.

Richards’ sobriety was also discussed at Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion show, but Richards has maintained that her sobriety is not in question.

Richards will appear in Superior Court on June 10.
