Kim Plath, a star of the TLC series Welcome to Plathville, was arrested for DUI months after a car crash in Florida that resulted in her vehicle flipping upside-down.
She was initially charged with reckless driving, but the police report described her as intoxicated at the scene and the lab results that were returned in September proved she was under the influence of alcohol.
Plath turned herself in on Thursday, the same day the DUI charge was filed by the Wakulla County, Florida sheriff’s office and released the same day.
The same month of this crash, Plath also announced her divorce from her husband Barry Plath, whom she had been living separately from through the fourth season of their show.
This is just a small legal hiccup, but plenty of reality stars have recently had much more intense brushes with the law.
