It may sound like a strange New Year's resolution, but Kim Kardashian is determined to stay single for most of 2011.
The raven-haired reality star, 30, confessed that she needs some time for herself. "I want to try to be single my whole year of being 30," she said on Thursday's Rachel Ray Show. "I've never just dated and done whatever I wanted. I have a hundred different jobs — when do I have time to really focus on someone?"
Kardashian, who has been romantically linked to such hunks as Miles Austin and Gabriel Aubry, recognizes that she might find such restraint challenging. "I've made a promise to myself and I'm really trying hard to stick to it, but I'm such a hopeless romantic that it's hard," she said. "I don't think that's gong to last, because that's just how I am.
