Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, parents to daughter North West, are expecting their second child together.
Kardashian, 34, revealed that she and West would soon be giving North a younger brother or sister in a sneak peek for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant!” Kardashian told her younger sister Khloe Kardashian in the clip shown during last night’s episode of the E! reality series.
In the show that aired Sunday night, Kardashian told cameras that she was growing increasingly frustrated in her efforts to conceive a second child with West. “I’m looking for any kind of positive answer to kind of push me along with this journey,” she said. “I’m just exhausted. I don’t know how much longer I can go through with this.”
Kardashian spoke about the joy of learning they’d soon be welcoming another child into the family after months of trying without any luck in an interview conducted two weeks ago for Glamour.
“We are so beyond excited… The waiting and waiting has been a roller coaster,” Kardashian admitted to the magazine. She added of motherhood, “It’s been the biggest lesson, and the biggest joy of my life. North has taught me patience. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for her. And nothing I wouldn’t do for my husband. She’s empowered us to want to be the best parents and the best spouses.’
On Instagram, Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner congratulated the couple on their exciting baby news. “Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to meet your new little love bug!!!!! Sooooo happy for you guys!!!!!!!!!!,” the famed momager wrote. “#blessed #love #family #youaresobeautifulpregnant.”
Kardashian and West, who were marred May 24, 2014, will celebrate firstborn North’s second birthday on June 15.
