Turns out being a famous American reality star may not mean you can get anywhere, as Kim Kardashian found out when she flew out to London earlier this week and attempted to talk her way into getting tickets for a Platinum Jubilee event called the Platinum Party at Buckingham Palace happening Saturday night.
However, reps for Kardashian and Davidson have said that report is false. Is this a case of tabloid falsehoods or just a model’s bruised ego?
According to The Daily Mail, Kardashian’s representatives contacted both the BBC, which is broadcasting the party, and officials from Buckingham Palace themselves, to try and acquire tickets for her and her boyfriend Pete Davidson.
Kardashian was apparently so keen on getting in, that she said she didn’t even mind if she was given VIP tickets. Although if she really just reached out to palace reps so last minute for jubilee access, she would have been lucky if there were any tickets available to spare at all.
A conflicting report soon emerged on Page Six, however, which quoted a rep for her saying that she was in London to support Davidson on a “secret project” he’s working on and that she “didn’t even ask to go” to the Jubilee. A rep for Davidson apparently said there is “no truth” to the story.
