Many Kim Kardashian fans had a major freakout earlier this week when a clip from the star’s Instagram story appeared to have cocaine lines on a surface in the background.
Two lines of what looked like a white powdery substance appeared on in the background of a public Snapchat posted by the celeb. After rumors of drug abuse surfaced from fans and critics alike, Kardashian responded with a defense via twitter. “I do not play with rumors like this so I’m gonna shut it down real quick. That’s sugar from our candy mess from dylan’s candy shop,” she wrote.
You can see the “lines” in question in the first part of the saved snap story below.
But upon further investigation, even that explanation was proven wrong. “Ok you guys, I just got back to my hotel room, and look at this table, same position, it is still there,” she said, showing the table to the camera. “So we did go to Dylan’s Candy Shop, I did think that it was our Pixie Sticks, but after all that, this table in the background is a marble table you guys!”
Yes, the mystery has been solved. Kardashian was not doing cocaine in her hotel room, and did not spill sugary Pixie Sticks as she believed.
“So come on,” she said in a follow up video. “I don’t play like that. I have kids, it’s just not my lifestyle, I’ve never been like that.. I just really can’t believe this, that it was a marble table and I thought it was candy, lol,” she said, running her fingers over the white striations.
