Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian are planning a trip to Armenia to learn more about their Armenian roots.
The Kardashians are reportedly still finalizing travel plans for an April pilgrimage to Armenia, but it is rumored that they will be joined by Kim’s daughter, North West, and all three of Kourtney’s children, Mason, Penelope and Reign. Reports suggest members of the extended Kardashian family are also set to join, but it is unclear whether or not their brother Rob Kardashian will be going along.
“Visiting Armenia has been on Kim’s bucket list forever. They are all so excited! They want to learn about their heritage,” a family friend told E! News.
Robert Kardashian, the sisters’ late father, was Armenian American, and the Kardashians have always been vocal about their Armenian heritage. Kim, for example, participated in a short video to commemorate the Armenian Genocide in 2012.
One year earlier in 2011, Kim appeared on the first cover of Armenaian Cosmopolitan.
“My Armenian heritage means a lot to me and I’ve been brought up to be incredibly proud of my family’s background and culture so as an Armenian-American woman it is a huge honor for me to be on the first ever Armenian Cosmopolitan cover,” Kim said at the time.
Sanchez was accompanied on board by some friends, including her ex-boyfriend NFL player Tony Gonzalez.
