Keyshia Cole Arrested After Attacking Woman In Boyfriend Birdman's Apartment

Keyshia Cole was arrested on Friday, Sept. 19, after reportedly assaulting a woman she allegedly discovered in her boyfriend’s L.A. apartment.

Keyshia Cole Arrested For Battery

Cole, who is dating Cash Money CEO Birdman, reportedly walked into her boyfriend’s apartment at around 5 a.m. When she walked in to find another woman there, the singer reportedly lost her temper and attacked, leaving scratches all over the alleged victim’s face.

Cole was arrested for battery. The singer also had an outstanding warrant for reckless driving and was released on a $46,000 bail later in the day.

Cole has not commented on her arrest, but she did post a vague message to her Instagram page along with a melancholy selfie. “Man love is a muthaF—ka,” Cole wrote.

Sabrina Mercadel, the alleged victim, is a Cash Money employee and insists she is not sleeping with Birdman. TMZ reported that Mercadel was not the only guest present in Birdman’s apartment, but Cole saw her and yelled, “What are you doing with my man?!”

Mercadel was reportedly taken to the ER following the assault.
