Kevin Hart does not intend to sue the driver after a car crash that left him with three spinal fractures.
Last month, the Jumanji star was involved in a car accident with two other people, in Los Angeles, California. His friend Jarred Black was behind the wheel of Hart’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda driving recklessly, when the car went off the road and crashed through the fence.
Despite the actor’s near-death experience, Hart is not planning to sue the driver. In fact, rather filing the claim with Jarred’s insurance company, he will use his personal health insurance to cover his medical costs.
The actor made an announcement regarding the accident, “I have nothing but love for Jared and wish him and Rebecca a speedy recovery,” he said in the statement.
On the other hand, the driver has sustained severe neck and back injuries, as well as the passenger in the backseat.
As police reported, Hart’s car did not have safety harnesses or airbags, which could possibly lead the actor to face a lawsuit.
