Kevin Hart Sues YouTuber Tasha K & Former Assistant For Alleged Extortion & Invasion Of Privacy

Comedian Kevin Hart filed a lawsuit against YouTuber Tasha K and his former employee, Miesha Shakes, for allegedly committing civil extortion and invading his privacy.

Shakes worked for Hart’s company from August 2017 to October 2020 as his personal assistant.

In his Netflix documentary series, he calls it “the lowest moment of my life.”

The YouTuber, whose real name is Latasha Kebe, interviewed Shakes on her channel Unwind with Tasha K on December 22. The video was titled, “The Interview That Kevin Hart Will WISH NEVER CAME OUT!!”

During the video, Shakes claims that Hart cheated on his wife, Eniko Parrish, and had an office affair. She also claims to have told Parrish herself of Hart’s affair and alleged gambling addiction.

Hart denied the allegations, calling them “false and defamatory statements regarding Hart and certain legal disputes in which he had been involved.”

He also addressed the claim that “Hart recorded a video of a sexual encounter and that he faced criminal charges regarding that supposed incident,” saying it was also false.

According to the complaint filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Hart sued Shakes for alleged breach of contract and defamation. He also sued Kebe for alleged intentional interference with contractual relations.

The complaint reported that in November, Kebe allegedly demanded $250,000 from him, threatening to release the interview if he didn’t pay. Hart decided to go to the police instead to issue a cease and desist order against Kebe to keep her from posting the video.

In 2017, Hart publicly apologized to his then-pregnant wife for cheating on her. The apology also mentioned the alleged extortion that occurred as a result.

In 2021, Hart accused his personal shopper of making over $1 million in unauthorized purchases.
