Christine Baumgartner, 50, has been spotted looking in love while walking with Josh Connor, her former neighbor before her divorce from Yellowstone actor Kevin Costner.
Photos show the pair arriving at Harold Dieterle’s II Totano in the West Village on Wednesday. The couple was seen smiling in the rain during their romantic night out. Connor wore a black winter coat and navy slacks, holding onto an umbrella he shared with Costner’s former flame.
Shielding her from the rain, Connor appeared confident and happy before they indulged in Italian cuisine. Baumgartner beamed, sporting an all-black attire, as she spent the evening with her new boyfriend as they went Christmas shopping for their children during their time in New York City, the same as last year when the couple started dating.
“Josh was initially just a friend. He is a divorced dad and understands what she’s been going through. They both love the ocean and beach life. It’s something that makes Christine happy,” an insider told People.
Baumgartner describes herself as “so in love,” adding that she is “beyond happy” to be in a committed and loving relationship with someone who shares her values. She was first spotted with Connor during a trip to Hawaii in July 2023, which included the children her children with Costner: Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 14.
Baumgartner filed for divorce from Coster in May 2023 after 18 years of marriage, the official date of separation as April 11 of the same year. Baumgartner initially refused to move out of Costner’s $145 million mansion but eventually did so after being ordered by a judge.
After several months of negotiations, the former couple finalized their divorce earlier this year. She wanted $160,000 a month in child support for their children’s “affluent lifestyle,” but the judge serving their case disagreed and ordered Costner to pay his ex-wife $63,209 in monthly child support.
