In legal documents, Christine Baumgartner, Kevin Costner‘s estranged wife, stated that the actor was worth $103 million when the pair made their prenup in 2004.
As the former couple goes through the divorce process, Baumgartner claims that Costner possesses nearly $400 million in assets, including $24 million in cash.
She also said Costner was “withholding” evidence of his current finances. Her lawyers had previously asked the actor to share documentation of his investments, but when he refused, they accused him of “stonewalling” ahead of the former couple’s child support hearing.
When Baumgartner’s legal team also called for information regarding expenses “relating to any extramarital romantic relationships,” Costner denied that he had an affair, adding that he did not know whether his estranged wife had any. Costner’s lawyers rejected the request, labeling it as “harassment” and “oppressive.”
Baumgartner filed for divorce from Costner in May, and over the past months, the former couple has been locked in a bitter legal battle.
