Actor Kevin Costner and his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, have finalized their divorce nine months after the papers were first filed.

Baumgartner filed for divorce in May 2023 after 19 years of marriage. The two reached a settlement in September 2023. Full details are unclear. However, a judge has validated their prenuptial agreements.

The pair both filed for joint custody of their three teenage children. Baumgartner will receive $63,209 a month in child support from Costner, confirmed after a two-day hearing. Baumgartner originally requested $165,000 a month. Costner and Baumgartner were also excused from participating in co-parenting classes.

The divorce got contentious last year when Baumgartner refused to move out of Costner’s $145 million home. She eventually left, but only after a judge ordered her to do so and to pay Costner $14,000 in legal fees.

Amidst their divorce, both Costner and Baumgartner have moved on to new partners. Baumgartner publicized her relationship with her and Costner’s former neighbor, Josh Connor. Costner is also dating singer Jewel.
