Kerry Washington and her husband Nnamdi Asomugha are expecting their second child together.
Washington is pregnant with a new brother or sister for her 2-year-old daughter Isabelle, according to E! News. According to the outlet, Washington’s baby bump could be seen as she posed for pictures at the White House Correspondent’s Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., on Saturday. As of yet, Washington, a famously private actress, hasn’t officially confirmed the reports.
“We don’t comment on her personal life,” a rep for the actress told the Los Angeles Times.
Earlier this year, when rumors were swirling about Washington and Asomugha heading for divorce, Washington stayed true to her policy about not commenting on stories pertaining to her private life.
“If I don’t talk about my personal life, it means I don’t talk about my personal life,” the actress said during a panel discussion at SXSW. “That means not only did I not tell you when I was getting married, it also means if somebody has rumors about what’s going on in my marriage, I don’t refute them, because I don’t talk about my personal life.”
Despite not confirming her pregnancy in a statement, Washington was happy to put her baby bump on display at the 2016 Met Gala Monday night, cradling it as she posed for the photographers.
At the annual fashion event, the Scandal star wowed in a gothic Marc Jacobs gown with matching long, sheer gloves. Washington completed her Met Gala look with violet hair.
