Kerry Washington & Husband Nnamdi Asomugha Campaign For Joe Biden In North Carolina

Actress Kerry Washington and her husband Nnamdi Asomugha encouraged early voting and met with Biden/Harris campaign volunteers in Durham, North Carolina on Saturday before the candidates’ scheduled visit on Sunday. The couple has been campaigning for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ahead of the Nov. 3 election.

“We are here in North Carolina because you have the power to save this country,” the Scandal star told the audience.

The couple also met with local business owners and leaders, making their stance on President Donald Trump clear. “I’m very passionate about removing our current president,” Washington said. “Vote, vote early, vote in-person, or drop off your absentee ballot if you can do it, and encourage your family and friends to do it.”
