Keri Russell and her husband of nearly seven years, Shane Deary have separated, a rep for the actress confirms.

Russell and Deary married on Valentine’s Day in 2007 and made a home in Brooklyn – Deary is a contractor. They share two children, a six-year-old son, River, and a two-year-old daughter Willa.

“They have been separated since early summer. The separation is amicable and their focus is on their children,” said a representative for Russell, who currently stars in FX’s The Americans.

The news comes on the heels of a break in at Russell’s Brooklyn home. Wednesday, Dec. 4, Russell was woken up by noises on the upper floor of her home. Two men had broken into her home and stolen some electronics and jewelry. Russell called 911 and the men were arrested soon after the reported break-in. The items stolen were retrieved.

Russell, best known for playing Felicity Porter in the hit drama, Felicity, has not released any further comment on her separation and whether or not the couple will be seeking a divorce is unknown.
