Dancing With the Stars saw an unexpected elimination Tuesday night, when Kendra Wilkinson was voted off despite scoring a 31 out of 40 on her last performance. That was not the only surprise of the night: Last week's top scorers (Romeo and Chelsea Kane) got the lowest score this week, and the lowest scorers last week (Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff) tied for top position.

The long, drawn out results episode that featured performances by Nicki Minaj, Wayne Brady and James Blunt saw Kane and her partner Mark Ballas in the bottom with Wilkinson and her professional partner Louis Van Amstel, until host Tom Bergeron declared that Wilkinson and Van Amstel were eliminated. Wilkinson was graceful when it came to her exit, thanking Van Amstel.

The former Playboy bunny oozed sex appeal in the samba and rumba, but when it came to elegance, Wilkinson faltered. All that changed this week. In Monday night's tango, Wilkinson finally seemed to master the tough choreography. “You never looked so elegant and ladylike and sexy,” judge Bruno Tonioli said.

After her elimination, Wilkinson said that she loved every minute of the show, but was relieved to go back to her life. “This was such a great experience, but honestly I'm so happy to get back to being a mother,” she told Good Morning America (Wilkinson is married to NFL player-husband Hank Baskett, and has one son, Hank IV). “The bar was set so high before I even set foot on the dance floor so it was so hard to meet those standards. I gave it the best I could. I had so much fun.”

Wilkinson also said she hoped fellow contestant Kirstie Alley would win the mirrorball trophy. “Kirstie and I, we really became close and I'm rooting for her,” Wilkinson said.

Five couples remain in the heated competition, including contestants Kane, Hines Ward, Macchio, Romeo and Alley.
