Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett is opening up for the first time about the allegations that her husband, Hank Baskett, cheated on her with a transsexual model.

In July, weeks after the birth of their second child, daughter Alijah Mary, Wilkinson and Baskett were told that a model, Ava Sabrina London, claimed she had an affair with Baskett during Wilkinson’s pregnancy. Neither Baskett nor Wilkinson commented on the rumors, but their silence seemed to confirm the story. Moreover, Wilkinson was spotted without her wedding ring and was rumored to be meeting with divorce lawyers in August.

Kendra Wilkinson Opens Up About Cheating Scandal

With the return of their WEtv reality show, Kendra On Top, Wilkinson is finally revealing how she heard the rumors and how it affected the current state of her marriage.

“This happened five weeks after giving birth to my daughter, and here we are with our newborn baby, and little Hank, and we get a call saying, ‘Hank cheated on me with a transsexual?’ I just laughed about it,” Kendra told E! News’ Giuliana Rancic.

As tabloids continued to print the rumors, and add in supposed ‘evidence’ proving the validity of the story, Wilkinson said she became more suspicious. Baskett denied cheating, but, as seen in clips from Kendra On Top, he wasn’t completely forthcoming either. “Overall, he was denying the whole thing. I don’t know what to believe. Yes, I’m seriously mad at Hank because I know something happened,” Wilkinson told Rancic.

Wilkinson said she was so distraught over the news that she flushed her wedding rings down the toilet. “I take my wedding rings off right in front of him. I drop them in the toilet…I just flushed the rings down the toilet,” Wilkinson told Rancic.

Wilkinson says she told her husband to leave and take their son, Hank IV, 4, to New Mexico to get him away from the tabloids and paparazzi. Even though Wilkinson admits she came “very close to divorcing” Baskett, she still believes he is a good father.

When asked about the rumors that Wilkinson orchestrated the entire scandal in order to gain publicity for her show, Wilkinson denied it, saying, “I wish we did…It is the most insulting thing out of all this, is how people think that this is fake. I would never do this to myself. You know, I would never degrade myself like that.”

Meanwhile, the two remain married and no divorce documents have been filed. In fact, Wilkinson and Baskett were photographed together for the first time in months on Thursday. They were reportedly in good spirits together and visited friends.
