Kelly Rohrbach Joins Cast In Upcoming ‘Baywatch’ Movie In Pam Anderson’s Old Role

The upcoming Baywatch reboot has found its new C.J. Parker in model Kelly Rohrbach.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson shared the news today on his Instagram page with a video of himself and Rohrbach discussing the iconic role of Parker. “A pleasure welcoming @kellyrohrbach to our #BAYWATCH family for the iconic role of “CJ Parker.” Yes, she’s a walking smoke stack but more importantly… she’s smart, tough and funny. Just the way we like ’em. Get ready world, we can’t wait to bring you our generation’s #BAYWATCH! You’ll have fun,” said Johnson in the caption of the video.

The last person to play the role of Parker was Pamela Anderson, who played the role for ten years on the original television drama. To fit the role first set by Anderson, Johnson posted another video testing Rohrbach’s running in slow motion so she could better fit the role of Parker, saying, “For our #BAYWATCH and the iconic role of “CJ Parker” I had to make sure @kellyrohrbach was ridiculously sexy running in SLO-MO.”

Along with Rohrbach and Johnson, other cast members including Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario have signed on for the film, with Seth Gordon directing the film. Production is set to begin next year with Beau Flynn and Ivan Reitman set to produce.
