Kelly Ripa Throws Final Diss To ‘Live!’ Co-star Michael Strahan

Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan filmed their last Live! With Kelly and Michael episode together on Friday, but behind the scenes Ripa reportedly made it clear Strahan was no longer welcomed on set.

Ripa allegedly couldn’t get rid of Strahan fast enough — after her co-star filmed his final show.

“There was a team waiting backstage,” an insider told Radar. “After the show, they started packing everything of Michael’s to get it out of the building.”

“When Kelly returns next week, it will be like he never even happened!” the insider revealed.

Pictures of Strahan and logos of the former Live! duo will also be cleared out of the studio.

“Pictures in the green room and hallways will all be replaced,” a source said. “And new logos are ready to go into place next week, without his name!”

The staff and crew of Live! were already preparing for Strahan’s departure, trying to clear out merchandise with his name on it from the company store. However, sources admit that it usually never happens this quickly.

“When Kathie Lee Gifford and Regis Philbin left, it took them a few weeks to remove framed pictures backstage,” the source shared. “This will be done this weekend.”

The Ripa and Strahan friendly partnership ended last month, when ABC announced that Strahan would be leaving the talk show for GMA without giving Ripa advance notice.
