Kelly LeBrock, best known for her starring role in The Woman in Red and rocky marriage with action star Steven Seagal, intends to end her self-imposed isolation on her Santa Barbara ranch and get back to Hollywood.

In addition to The Woman in Red, LeBrock starred in Weird Science opposite Anthony Michael Hall and 90s films Hard to Kill and Wrongfully Accused. Her last film role was 2007’s Nina & the Mystery of the Secret Room. Since then, LeBrock has said she’s been living the life of a “hermit” on her California ranch, blissfully surrounded by nature, reported the Daily Mail.

A major catalyst for LeBrock's move away from Hollywood was the public dissolution of her marriage to Seagal. "When I split with Steven, the divorce was very ugly, and details of the case were on the evening news. I didn't want my kids seeing it, so I simply got rid of the TV,” she told the newspaper. “I moved my kids out of L.A. so they could grow up with real people—the kids of gas pump attendants, plumbers, and real family people.

“I had absolutely no self-esteem. I hated myself,” LeBrock added. “I decided to swap my old life in Beverly Hills for a new one in the country, in Santa Barbara.”

At her single-story farmhouse, LeBrock frequently rides her horse Kiwi and gets her hands dirty taking care of the ranch. The 80s sex symbol cleans her pool, takes care of her livestock, grows her own produce and even makes her own cheese and yogurt. After a day of hardwork, LeBrock sometimes will sleep under the stars with Kiwi.

In her tell-all book, LeBrock reveals the horrors she suffered during her marriage to Seagal, including a particularly shocking incident. 'Writing about that experience in my book has been incredibly painful," she said. "But I’m relieved the truth will finally come out.” LeBrock believes, that after going through the therapeutic three years of writing the tell-all, she’s ready to finally make her return to the film industry.
