Kelly Clarkson performed a tribute to her mother-in-law, Reba McEntire, with the help of Miranda Lambert at the American Country Countdown Awards.
Lambert and Clarkson took turns singing lead before McEntire herself joined the women onstage during her hit “Fancy.”
McEntire was awarded the Nash Icon Award at the first ever American Country Countdown Awards on Monday night and accepted her award right after her performance. Lambert also received an award, winning Female Vocalist of the Year.
Clarkson has been easing back into the spotlight since giving birth to her first daughter, River, six months ago. The new mother recently shared a photo of her and her baby hanging out backstage at a concert.
The singer, who has collaborated with McEntire before, just released a new music video for “Wrapped in Red,” a single off her Christmas album of the same name.
