Talk show host Kelly Clarkson is paying her last installment of spousal support to her former husband, Brandon Blackstock, in early 2024.

After their divorce in June 2020, Clarkson revealed that she is relieved that this period has finally come to an end.

Court records stated that the artist was required to pay a one-time payment of $1,326,161 and then $115,000 to Blackstock in spousal support each month until January 2024.

The couple’s divorce was finalized in June 2022, and Clarkson was required to pay $45,000 in child support for her two sons, River and Remington, in addition to the $115,000 per month spousal support.

After this expensive experience, Clarkson is reportedly ready to start fresh in the New Year.

The singer stated that she was excited to “show up to work smiling and actually mean it.”

In November 2023, according to court records, Blackstock illegally took a commission to help secure Clarkson’s position as a judge on The Voice. He was ordered to repay his ex $2.6 million.

Clarkson’s fans have expressed their excitement over the ending of the ordeal on social media.

According to Clarkson, Blackstock allegedly told her that she wasn’t good enough to be on The Voice, telling her that they wouldn’t consider her for a judge role because she was not physically attractive enough for the producers.

This fall, Clarkson has been followed by rumors of Ozempic use after her dramatic 40-pound weight loss.
