British actress Keira Knightley's London home was broken into and robbed last week, while she was in Rome promoting her new movie Last Night.
Two laptops worth about $3,225 were taken and the front door broken down. The Pirates of the Caribbean actress is "mortified," according to The Sun. "She feels violated and doesn't know if she wants to return to the flat," said a police source. Two other homes in the neighborhood were burgled as well, and police do not believe the actress, 25, was targeted for her fame.
However, they are concerned that the personal contents of the computers will be sold for money. Earlier this year, Knightley was accosted by a 41-year-old Polish stalker outside of the theater where she was performing. –AMY LEE
