Ke$ha Bashes Britney For Lipsyncing

Avril Lavigne was touted as the “Anti-Britney Spears” when she first became famous. Then P!nk wrote “Don’t Let Me Get Me” in which she penned the memorable lyrics: ‘"tired of being compared / to damn Britney Spears."

Now Ke$ha, who has the #1 hit song “Tik Tok,” has joined the ranks of the Britney haters. Ke$ha, whose vocals have been featured on Spears’ Circus album on the track “Lace and Leather,” condemned Spears for lipsyncing at her concerts. “It’s treating people as if they are too stupid to realize you are not actually singing," the singer told Scotland’s Daily Record. "Sometimes it is hard to sing and dance at the same time, but I would rather be off and be real and genuine about it to my fans. I don’t want to treat my fans like they are stupid.” –KADEEN GRIFFITHS
