Matrix star Keanu Reeves is auctioning off a 15-minute virtual Zoom date to raise money for Camp Rainbow Gold, a children’s cancer charity. The date will go to the highest bidder in the Shine for Camp auction, an initiative started by the Camp Rainbow Gold charity.
The auction description for Reeves’s date reads, “Bill & Ted. Speed. The Matrix. John Wick. You know him. You love him… This is truly priceless and now you have the chance to Zoom with him from home! Get your questions ready and spend 15-minutes with actor, director, producer and musician, Keanu Reeves.”
Camp Rainbow Gold’s mission is to “provide emotionally empowering experiences to Idaho’s children diagnosed with cancer and their families.”
The charity is auctioning off a number of other experiences along with Reeves’s virtual date including a 15-minute private Zoom concert from Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke, a guitar signed by Andy Grammer, a spa day and more.
According to the auction website, the Zoom date with Reeves has a market value of $10,000. The auction will close on June 22.
