Keanu Reeves’ Stolen Rolex Watches Recovered In Chile Following Robbery

A collection of luxury watches stolen from actor Keanu Reeves, including a $9,000 Rolex, has been recovered by authorities in Chile.

In addition to the Rolex, police recovered three other watches belonging to Reeves as well as stolen jewelry. A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with the theft.

Authorities worked in collaboration with U.S. officials to track the items, leading to their discovery in eastern Santiago. It remains unclear if Reeves was present at the time of the robbery.

Local police in Santiago confirmed they had found the engraved Rolex Submariner among other stolen valuables connected to a December 2023 burglary at Reeves’ Los Angeles home.

The watch, reportedly gifted by Reeves to a stuntman on the set of John Wick 4 in 2021, bore an engraving of the recipient’s first name alongside the message: “2021, JW4, thank you, The John Wick Five.”

This isn’t the first time Reeves has been the victim of a break-in. In September 2014, his home was burglarized twice within three days. During one incident, a woman in her 40s was detained and taken to a medical facility, while in another, a different woman was found in Reeves’ swimming pool.

The recent recovery of Reeves’ belongings comes with a twist, given the premise of the John Wick franchise. In the first film, Reeves’ character embarks on a vengeful quest following the theft of his car and the killing of his dog—a gift from his late wife—during a home invasion.

While promoting the franchise in a recent CBS Mornings interview on Dec. 27, Reeves expressed mixed emotions about a potential fifth installment of John Wick. “You can never say never—but my knees right now are saying, ‘You can’t do another John Wick,’” the 60-year-old actor joked. “So my heart [wants to], but I don’t know if my knees can do it.”

Fans of the series can still anticipate Reeves’ return as the assassin in a cameo for the upcoming spin-off film, From the World of John Wick: Ballerina.
