Katy Perry attended Burning Man this year and ended the festival with a failed Segway ride.
Perry attended this year’s Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada, which started on Aug. 30 and ended yesterday, Sept. 7. On Sunday, Perry posted a humorous video on Instagram of herself attempting to ride a Segway in full “Burner” attire and captioned it, “obvious first time burner alert.”
Apparently, the desert winds were too strong for her, and she was unable to stay on the device for long. The video shows her falling off the Segway and then chasing after it in the dusty, desert winds.
The weather at Burning Man this year was particularly dusty and windy, which made preparations for the festival difficult.
