Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx dating rumors are swirling again, as new reports allege that the two are getting serious about one another.

A picture showing Holmes and Foxx holding hands in some sort of studio has reignited rumors that the two have become more than friends over the last year or so.

“Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with,” a friend of both Holmes and Foxx told Us Weekly, adding of Holmes ex-husband Tom Cruise, “She’s getting everything from Jamie that she didn’t get with Tom.”

As for Foxx, he’s apparently “cut his roster” of women for Holmes, who supposedly calls her, “my girl.”

Not everyone is convinced that what’s going on between Holmes and Foxx is quite so serious. “This is not some intense romance,” another insider told People magazine. “Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn. But contrary to those conclusions, they’re not about to run off and make some serious commitment.”

The insider went on to admit that Holmes frequents Foxx’s home and that “they spend hours together” during her visits.

Despite the reports that suggest the two are in some way involved, there are still doubters. “There is NOTHING romantic going on between Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx,” a source told Gossip Cop.

Holmes, who was married to Cruise from 2006 to 2012 and has 8-year-old daughter Suri, has yet to go public with a romantic relationship since her divorce from the action star.
