Katie Holmes and Ryan Reynolds were captured filming a scene for Woman in Gold in Los Angeles recently.
In Woman in Gold, Holmes, 35, and Reynolds, 37, play a married couple and parents to three young children. While shooting around a reservoir in the San Fernando Valley, the two pushed a baby in a stroller, walking and talking. For the day on set, Holmes looked casual in a tank top, jeans and Converse sneakers. Reynolds was a bit more dressed up with a button-down tucked into khaki pants and brown loafers.
Directed by Simon Curtis from a screenplay by Alexi Katy Campbell, Woman in Gold follows octogenarian Jewish refugee Maria Altman (Helen Mirren), who is fighting to recoup artwork that belonged to her family that was lost during World War II. One of the pieces she’s hoping to retrieve is Austrian painter Gustav Klimt’s The Lady in Gold. Reynolds character is Maria’s lawyer, Randol Schoenberg. Daniel Bruhl will play his adversary.
Woman in Gold’s all-star cast also includes Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black), Elizabeth McGovern (Downton Abbey), Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), Max Irons (The Host) and Frances Fisher (Titanic).
Woman is Gold will premiere in the U.S. sometime in 2015.
