Loudmouthed funny-lady Kathy Griffin is heading a gay rights rally in Washington D.C. urging Congress to repeal the military’s "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell" policy, which is currently being considered by the body. The protest comes hot on the heels of Saturday night’s Human Rights Campaign awards gala, where Griffin was honored with the HRC Ally for Equality prize for her work on behalf of the LGBTQ community.
The rally is scheduled to commence at noon on Thursday at Freedom Plaza. Footage from the event will be aired on the next season of the ginger-haired comedienne’s reality TV show My Life on the D-List. –AHMED MORI
