Kathy Bates Channels Bruno Mars In New 'Lip Sync Battle' Preview
Academy Award-winning actress Kathy Bates channeled the pop icon Bruno Mars in a preview for an upcoming episode of Lip Sync Battle.
The video shows Bates lip syncing to Mars’ hit song “That’s What I Like.” She donned a leopard print top and a large gold necklace in honor of the singer, and Bates is shown dancing with a crew of backup dancers.
The preview also hints at a positive reaction from Lip Sync Battle commentator and model Chrissy Tiegen.
“I finally have an answer when somebody asks me — which is always — ‘what’s your favorite LSB moment ever?’” Tiegen said. “It is you on that stage doing the foot slide to the foot slide.”
Lip Sync Battle has been on air since 2015, and Hollywood and musical stars alike — from Dwane “The Rock” Johnson to Justin Bieber — have appeared throughout its run. It’s currently on its fourth season and is hosted by LL Cool J.
