Upton was photographed on August 3 in New York City wearing an orange, floral, sheath dress, which could be used to hide a small baby bump. Upton’s PDA with her baseball player boyfriend, Justin Verlander, has only added to the pregnancy rumors. On Monday, Aug. 4, Verlander, 31, threw a baseball to his girlfriend sitting in the stands. The sweet moment during the Detroit Tigers vs. New York Yankees game was captured on film, and the night before the duo had been photographed on a dinner date.

Upton became an instant celebrity when she scored the cover of Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Edition and has become a fixture of the fashion industry – she stars in campaigns for Express and Bobbi Brown. Though known for her bikini body, she appears on the September cover of Elle UK wearing a black one-piece and a coat, only adding to the pregnancy story. However, it should be noted that Upton was seen flaunting her curvy figure in a bikini in July when she went to Cancun with Verlander.

Upton may, or may not, be pregnant, but the model has expressed the desire to add a third party to her relationship with Verlander: a puppy. In July, Upton shared a photo to Instagram of herself holding an adorable little puppy with the caption, “Pleaseeeee @justinverlander.”
