Kate Upton and Justin Verlander have been dating since early 2014 and announced their engagement at the 2016 Met Gala after keeping it a secret for a few months.

The 25-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model married the Houston Astro baseball star in a romantic ceremony at Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Italy, on Saturday.

“He asked me right before the [baseball] season started, so we’ve been keeping it on the down low for quite a while,” Upton said, “so I’m excited to finally be able to share it with the world.”

The engagement ring by jeweler Anita Ko was a showstopper. Ko stated, “Justin and I collaborated on creating the most perfect one-of-a-kind ring that is rare and of exceptional quality… just like their love.”

Upton wore incredible white gown with a voluminous skirt with a long train. The dress featured long sleeves and sheer element over her décolletage. She wore a long veil that meshed perfectly with her long wavy blonde hair. Pictures showed her holding tight to her large bouquet of flowers as she smiled and enjoyed her perfect day.

Verlander, just days after helping his team beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game Seven of the World Series, wore a black suit with a bow tie.

The bride’s bridesmaids looked fashionable in pink colored frocks with a layered skirt and off-the-shoulder sleeves.
