James MiddletonKate Middleton’s brother, is currently at war with his neighbor.

James has alleged that his neighbor, 65-year-old David Alderton, is attacking the family by putting up malicious posters around their home in Stanford Dingley Village, England. Alderton has frequently complained about noise pollution coming from their family farm.

Alderton has also trespassed on the Middleton’s property and warned the Princess of Wales’ brother-in-law that “things are gonna get brutal.”

Alderton lives across the Middletons’ property and runs a motorcycle dealership. He allegedly harassed a house sitter who was watching their property when the Middletons were away because some of their animals were making noises.

Alderton said last year that James uses dangerous and noisy machinery that impacts the neighbors.

“It’s ancient, noisy, dirty, smelly machinery—old Massey Fergusons, an old threshing machine, wood chipping machines, you name it,” Alderton told The Daily Mail. “It’s a farm, so I suppose he feels justified in having farm machinery, even if it’s derelict. But he has a duty of care to his neighbors and the environment—it should not impact on people nearby.”

James challenged this by stating, “It is sad that someone who chooses to live in the countryside in a farming community cannot accept that from time to time there will be noise and smells from tractors and animals, especially if they live next to a farm.”

“We would be neglecting our duty of responsibility for the animals and countryside if we did what he asked us to do to our livestock,” James added.

The local police have been involved in the investigations.

The Middletons have had a lot of trouble in their community of late. Kate’s parents were recently the subject of another malicious poster campaign after their party planning company went bankrupt.
