Kate Middleton will likely give birth to her second child with husband Prince William in April 2015.
The due date month for Middleton and Williams’ child was announced via a Palace statement, according to NBC News. In addition to revealing that Middleton will most likely be giving birth to Prince George’s little brother or sister in April, the statement also noted that the Duchess of Cambridge is still battling the acute morning sickness condition called Hyperemesis Gravidarum.
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015," the Palace announced in a statement. "The Duchess of Cambridge continues to be affected by Hyperemesis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving."
Clarence House announced Middleton’s pregnancy in early September after she was forced to cancel a planned official engagement to receive treatment for the debilitating condition. Middleton’s pregnancy with Prince George was similarly announced after she was hospitalized for Hyperemesis Gravidarum.
“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news," a statement from Buckingham Palace after news broke that the Duke and Duchess were expecting again.
When Kate and William welcome their second child, he or she will become fourth in line to the throne, bumping Prince Harry to fifth in line. With Queen Elizabeth II still at the head of the monarchy, Prince Charles is first in line, followed by Prince William and his son Prince George.
