Kate Hudson is engaged to Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy. The soon to be mother of two announced the engagement on the Today show this morning when Matt Lauer noticed the ring on the actress’s finger. “It just happened a week ago," Hudson said. "I'm so glad you noticed. I haven't really announced it and I felt like the announcing thing feels so silly, and I was just waiting for someone to notice."
Hudson and Bellamy have been together for about a year. The 32-year-olds are expecting a child in the next few months. Though Hudson was fine revealing the engagement, she kept quiet on the details of Bellamy’s proposal. “It was very sweet. It was very romantic,” she said.
Hudson has been married once before to Chris Robinson, the lead singer of The Black Crowes. She also had a son, Ryder, with Robinson. The two share custody of the 7-year-old boy.
