Angela “Angie” Kukawski, a Los Angeles celebrity business manager, was found dead on December 23 in her vehicle in Simi Valley. On Wednesday, police announced they arrested her boyfriend on suspicion of her murder.
Kukawski, 55, worked for Boulevard Management, a high-profile money management firm, and worked with clients such as the Kardashians, Nicki Minaj, and the estate of late rapper Tupac Shakur, in the past.
Kukawski was beloved in her business and was also a mother of five children.
The murder suspect, 49-year-old Jason Barker, has been arrested and charged with one count of murder and torture each.
In a public statement, the LAPD says they believe “Barker killed the victim inside their Sherman Oaks residence, placed her inside her vehicle, and drove to Simi Valley.”
Barker is being held in L.A. on a $3.07 million bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan 12, 2022.
