Kanye West’s Wife, Bianca Censori, Causes Outcry For Her Skimpy Outfit In Tokyo

Kanye West and Bianca Censori have made headlines yet again for Censori’s revealing outfit, this time at a Halloween bash on Wednesday in celebration of the spooky season.

West and Censori, currently in Tokyo, were partying at a private Maison Margiela party in the Shibuya district.

Censori wore large lacy patches on her upper body and a matching lace thong, and West wore a white sweatshirt and sweatpants. It is unclear if either of them had a costume in mind.

While Censori has a history of sparking controversy with her scanty fashion style, West donned a sullen attitude, wearing his usual sweatsuit and blackout sunglasses. The outfit was met with a largely negative reaction on Japanese social media.

Censori’s friends and family have expressed concern that her behavior has shifted since she and West started dating. They are worried that she doesn’t have free will in the relationship. There have long been public suspicions that West is exerting complete control over Censori—most noticeably, her clothing choices.

From sheer dresses to thongs to a plastic bag, Censori’s outfits have long sparked controversy. While many internet users point out the importance of a woman claiming her own identity, Censori’s outfits have only been described with words such as “degrading,” “humiliating” and “uncomfortable.” 

West and Censori’s relationship has had a tumultuous reputation from the beginning – they were married just two months after West finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian in January 2023.

Earlier this year, Kardashian requested an emergency sitdown meeting with West and Censori to discuss Censori wearing “inappropriate clothing” around her young children.

Censori’s wardrobe bears a remarkable resemblance to Kardashian’s previous style. In a 2018 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kardashian expressed, “I always thought I had really good style until I met my husband, and he told me that I had the worst style.”

In a later episode, Kardashian remembered how West had told her that without his help, she looked like Marge Simpson and that her career would end.
