We find the news you need to know, so you don't have to.
Patiently waiting outside is West’s pregnant wife, Kim Kardashian West talking to host, Ryan Seacrest.
“I’m not nervous, because I do really believe in him,” she tells him. “I didn’t give him any advice on singing, rapping. I hope they really believe in him,” Kardashian said to Seacrest.
Panning back to Kanye, he introduces himself: “My name is Kanye. I’m from south side of Chicago,” he begins, before revealing his first career was a producer before fighting to become a rapper.”
Lopez, playing along, says the song better be about her. West pays tribute as he goes full a cappella on “Gold Digger,” which shouts out to Lopez.
American Idol begins its final season Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
