Kanye West has found himself in hot water again after a lawsuit was filed against the rapper for assault charges stemming from an incident in 2008. A New York City-based photographer Michael Vasquez claims he was “assaulted, battered, beat and threatened” by West and his security team at a Casio G-Shock party for an unspecified reason, according to the New York Post.
Vasquez filed a report soon after the incident, but police threw out the original case after determining that the complaint was "unfounded." The photographer reportedly suffered a dislocated shoulder and had his cell phone and cameras confiscated from the brawl. Vasquez is seeking an undetermined amount of monetary compensation for “physical, mental and emotional injuries.” West's representatives have yet to respond. –Natthakan Garunrangseewong
