Kanye West is taking his online feuds into the realm of his sneaker businesses as well. The rapper took a previously-used format of a phony news headline to announce that Adidas CEO Kasper Rørsted is “Also Dead At 60.”

The picture also included a side dig at his former collaborator Kid Cudi with smaller text that said “Who is Kasper? But more importantly who is Kid Cudi?”

West apparently suspects Adidas of releasing and recoloring shoes from his Yeezy sneaker line without his approval, and even allegedly taking his designs for other shoes. Yeezy has been partnered with the German sportswear manufacturer since 2013.

Is there a legitimate infraction here, or is Ye just biting the hand that feeds him?

One of his first posts on the matter summarized it like this: “Adidas releasing old shoes and coloring my shoes like I’m dead.”

A deluge of Instagram posts are still live on West’s page, including several photos of what seem to be Adidas board members or ranking staff.

In another post, West expressed frustration with not being granted full control over a multinational corporation. “WHAT SHOE COMPANY WILL GIVE ME CONTROL. I NEED TO BE HEAD OF THE BOARD AND THE CHIEF DECISION MAKER,” he wrote.

He is also issuing accusations toward the clothing manufacturer Gap, saying they held holiday meetings without him and also said in a post, “I signed with Adidas and Gap because it contractually stated they would build permanent stores which neither company has done even though I saved both of these companies at the same time.”
