Kanye West told a concert audience on Wednesday’s that Watch the Throne 2 will not be happening any time soon.
In the original album, which was released in 2011, West collaborated with Jay Z, instantly making fans yearn for more. West noted that he has a beef with Jay Z’s Tidal and Apple.
“There will never be a Watch The Throne 2,” West told concert goers. “I wasn’t on the [the album version of “Pop Style”] ’cause [Jay Z]. It was some Tidal/Apple bulls***.”
Regardless of Jay Z’s deal with Apple, West has made it clear that he doesn’t see Jay Z as a good friend in the aftermath of Kim Kardashian‘s Paris robbery incident. West said that their kids never played together and that Jay Z should have come visited him in his time of need rather than simply messaging him.
“There was so much money to be made,” a source told PageSix. “Jay was like, ‘I’m gonna knock this out. We’re going to do a tour to bring in millions of dollars. I can tolerate that.’”
