Kanye West has reportedly replaced his teeth with titanium “teeth.”
Photos posted to his Instagram story showed the rapper with his mouth open with the custom titanium dentures.
The procedure cost West around $850,000 and was done by Beverly Hills dentist Thomas Connelly. Connelly, who is considered the father of diamond dentistry, has Offset, Chris Brown and Lil Yachty as celebrity clients.
The procedure is considered “experimental dentistry.” The teeth were reportedly designed by Kanye himself.
According to insiders, West’s new grills are permanent and are the first of their kind.
West said that he was inspired to make the dental change by the James Bond villain, Jaws.
West’s past few months have been marred with controversy. He was condemned for antisemitic comments made at the release party for his new album Vultures in collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign. He later apologized for the comments.
