Kanye West Refuses To Perform At Coachella Unless Billie Eilish Apologizes To Travis Scott

Kanye West, who has now legally changed his name to Ye, has announced that he won’t perform at this year’s Coachella until Billie Eilish apologizes to Travis Scott.

West called out Eilish for her comments at a recent concert in Atlanta last week. During her performance, Eilish noticed an audience member struggling to breathe and stopped the concert to help. After the fan received medical attention, the singer told the crowd, “I wait for people to be okay until I keep going.”

This statement was seen by media outlets, and the rapper West, as a diss to the rapper Scott and his last year catastrophic Astroworld festival performance, which resulted in many injured people and accidental deaths. Scott is currently being sued over the incident.

West went on Instagram to share his opinion about Eilish’s comment.

“Come on, Billie we love you please apologize to Trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives no one intended this to happen,” West wrote in all capital letters. “Trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened, and yes, Trav will be with me at Coachella, but now I need Billie to apologize before I perform.”

Eilish responded to West on his Instagram post by commenting, “Literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan.”

The grandparents of nine-year-old Ezra Blount, the youngest victim of the Astroworld concert, responded to West’s remarks, calling them “hurtful” and “idiotic.”

“I think it’s just crazy, and I hate to use that word, but I think it’s ridiculous,” said grandmother Tricia Blount. “She’s making sure that she is caring for the patrons at her concert, and I just think that’s crazy of Kanye to even let that demand come out of his mouth.”
