Kanye West Is Living In A ‘Simple’ $20,000 Per Month Apartment Without Chef & Nanny, Says Ex Kim Kardashian

In a new episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Kim Kardashian revealed Kanye West is living a scaled-back lifestyle much different from her own after their divorce.

In the episode, she shared details of how her ex-husband lives with her sister, Kourtney Kardashian.

She also revealed that her eldest daughter, North, prefers Kanye’s lifestyle over Kim’s.

“North, she’ll go to her dad’s, she’ll be like, ‘Dad is the best. He has it all figured out,’” Kim said. “‘He doesn’t have a nanny. He doesn’t have a chef. He doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment.’ And she’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment.’”

Kourtney also revealed that her three kids, Mason, Penelope and Reign, prefer staying with their dad than with her.

“They do that at Scott’s too. ‘Dad has the best house, your house sucks. He has the best house,'” Kourtney recounted. “It’s not super big, the vibe’s better.’ I feel like everything falls on the parent that’s more involved.”

Kim has kept her and Kanye’s $60 million Calabasas, California, compound following the ex-couple’s divorce.

Kanye, now legally married to Bianca Censori, has been sharing a $20,000-a-month apartment in the Los Angeles neighborhood of West Hollywood. 

Kanye was going to construct a $60 million mansion in Malibu, but progress was halted after the rapper was hit with financial troubles following several antisemitic remarks he made last year.

In addition to North, Kanye and Kim share three other children together – Saint, Chicago and Psalm. The two were legally married from 2014 to 2022.

Kanye has been attracting a lot of attention while in Italy with Censori, doing photo shoots in the streets and being banned by a boat company in Venice for “inappropriate behavior.”
